Coach Rai is a basketball guru with over 20 years of experience as a player, trainer, and coach. He has a proven track record of guiding and preparing young athletes to successfully make their high school basketball teams and transition into college programs.
Entering his 7th season as a varsity girls' head basketball coach, Coach Rai has achieved significant success. In 2022, he led El Camino Real Charter High School to a D1 LA City Championship and was named the 2022 LA City Coach of the Year. In 2024, he guided Granada Hills Charter High School to the D3 Southern California Regional Championship and a runner-up finish in the D3 California State Championship.
Coach Rai currently works with some of the top talents at the elementary, middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. Growing up in a basketball-enriched area of the San Fernando Valley, he excelled as a player, earning multiple accolades, including playing four years of varsity basketball at El Camino Real High School (Class of 2004). His high school success led to a Division 1 college basketball career at California State University, Northridge, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Recreation Tourism Management in 2009.
After his college playing days, Coach Rai transitioned into training and coaching, working with various youth, high school, and college basketball programs. His dedication and expertise have made him a respected figure in the basketball community.
